Isabel is an amazing French tutor with a unique, hands-on approach. I have tried many different language classes and tutors, but each was ineffective due to a lack of substance and motivation. Isabel completely changed that. Her lessons are fun and interactive, and as a student, I feel like I am not just learning the language but also the mentality and culture that shape it. I am very happy with my classes and my progress and recommend it highly.

Isaebl is a wonderful teacher and a bright light. I've had many teachers in multiple languages - both within and outside of Preply, and she's the best of them all. She's always well-prepared, has lesson plans that make sense, but is not afraid to depart from them if needed. But best of all is her positive energy, her enthusiasm for teaching, and the interest she takes in her students as individuals. I love working with Isabel! She is super upbeat and knowledgeable, she customized the lessons to match my exact goals and the lessons are very fun! Also she speaks portuguese (my native language) and French as a native speaker, and English as well, which makes learning much easier for me as I can communicate in the 2 languages I use in my daily life and she helps me draw comparisons so learning and memorizing is easier :)

I really appreciate that Isabel is well prepared with her own adapted and detailed lessons. I've had a number of other tutors on Preply, and I definitely see myself advancing under her tutelage in hopefully a year or two to B2. I like that she teaches the formal, "correct" version of learning French, but points out the real contrast of everyday French as it's spoken.
